charis fellowship conference 1

July 9–11 | Columbus, Ohio

Down Arrow

We know the Gospel is the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.

But often we forget the significance of what we have been saved from and our guaranteed future. The Gospel — the saving of our souls — is not something thriving believers move on from, but rather something we move deeper into. That’s why we need to preach the Gospel to ourselves every day.

What is Charis Fellowship Conference?

Charis Fellowship Conference, previously known as Access Conference, is a three-day gathering of pastors, ministry leaders, and lay people for the purpose of studying the Bible, fellowshipping with other believers, and equipping for ministry. During main sessions we will engage in musical worship and receive biblical insight and instruction from Charis Fellowship pastors that will refocus our hearts on Jesus and what He did for us. Workshops will dig deeper into the Gospel message while providing practical ways we can take that message to those around us, including several ministry-specific discussions in areas such as worship, women, kids, and families.

Additional Activities

The Charis Symposium will present on Theology of Gender Roles in Church Leadership, based on their findings from their second year of studying this topic. Symposium contributors will frame the discussion, consider leadership examples from both Testaments, define key terms (e.g., pastor, elder, deacon, preaching), explore the intersection between gender and gifting, and draw from our Fellowship’s history of church leadership. By the end of the Symposium, you will have access to a collection of theologically-grounded papers written and read by Charis Fellowship members.

Join us Monday night as we kick off conference with a cookout! We’ll have burgers, hot dogs, sides, drinks, and desserts — plus family-friendly activities! You don’t want to miss this opportunity to connect with others before conference.

You can register for this event and purchase your $6 ticket when registering for conference.

All are invited for this Charis family conversation where we will discuss important details and decisions relating to the Charis Fellowship. Local church delegates should plan to attend and participate in this meeting.
